Inward foreign manifest of the British bark, Elizabeth Thompson, listing goods from the Australian port of Launceston, Tasmania being landed at San Francisco, California at the height of the gold rush. Reflecting the world-wide influence of the massive emigration to California and the goods needed to feed and support the growing population, the shipment consists mostly of food products such as beef, flour, sugar, butter, rum, pickles, beans, onions, etc. Also includes some non-food items such as bricks, leather, and rope. Shippers and consignees are also listed and the manifest, assigned docket number 150, is signed by Captain Betts and San Francisco Deputy Collector, C.K. Green.
